Are you an improvisor looking dip their toes in sketch?
Chances are you've improvised a scene and thought, "Wow, this would work great as a sketch." Ever sit down to crack open a word doc only to find the page staring right back at you, empty and intimidating? This is the class for you!
In this unique mix of in-person and online classes, we build on the foundation of improv you already have, giving you the nudge you need to break writer's block and start scripting, producing, and acting in your own sketches.

A stable internet connection and decent mic/camera for online classes. Most laptops have these built-in. A phone works but is not recommended.

Stevie Laskaris
Stevie started as an improvisor but has been performing sketch with the troupe he founded, Sproink & Oink (instagram: @sproinkandoink), for several years. In this time he has produced his own sketch shows and gotten to perform 3 years in a row at Montreal Sketchfest.

Note for the show
Performing in the graduation show will not be mandatory but if you choose to, you will need to devote time to rehearsing and memorizing lines. If at the last class a student is behind on memorizing, the teacher reserves the right to cut them from the graduation show. This is to keep a level of professionalism and to respect the time that other students have put in.
